Power for the iconic Infiniti crossover is generated by a 3.7L V6 prime mover with VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) joined to a responsive seven-speed automatic transmission.

QX70 utilizes the rigid FM (for Front Midship) platform architecture, with a balanced front-to-rear weight distribution to help provide exceptional handling performance.
